Whether you have been to Italy and stopped at the many Gelato shops along the way or just want to savor a taste that Italy is known for around the world, stop in for some real GELATO made at our restaurant.
WHAT IS GELATO?
“GELATO” (jeh-lah-toh) is Italian for ice cream.
GELATO typically has a more intense flavor compared to American Ice cream. Besides the more traditional flavors, you can find fruit flavors like melon or Kiwi, pink grapefruit or coconut.
GELATO is better for you! Gelator is usually made with whole milk or with up to 7% milk fat while American ice cream typically uses 12 to 18% milkfat!
GELATO is made so it is smooth and dense—it has a lot less air whipped in than American ice cream.
At THAT LITTLE ITALIAN KITCHEN, we have imported a true Gelato maker and regularly import the key ingredients FROM ITALY to assure that we have TRUE ITALIAN GELATO.
So stop in for a TRUE taste of ITALY! We sell 2 sizes and also sell by the pint container. Special bulk orders are possible!
